The Leadership Company is firmly rooted in face-to-face training. This chosen method of interaction provides personal contact with the participants and affords a unique opportunity to forge a working relationship with them based on trust. We can set an informal and supportive environment where we gain a feel for the participants as individuals and are able to observe their body language and assess their ability to assimilate information into action. This holistic approach towards leadership training allows for a more in-depth analysis of team development.
In the past it was sufficient to provide some preparatory pre programme learning to bring leadership to life. However, as with every other business Covid-19 disrupted our way of thinking and we had to reassess the way we train. Our leadership offerings now reflect the realities of the hybrid working environment. Whilst the meteoric rise of the video call and the ability to work collaboratively online have brought many advantages, nothing will ever replace human contact in training. A human being is a social animal who generally likes physical interaction, needs to feel as well as see emotion and who values social engagement. So, to reflect the new hybrid working world we find ourselves in, The Leadership Company will continue to create exciting and effective face-to-face training programmes.
To address the challenges that the virtual environment creates for leaders and teams, we have taken the same successful methods used in our face-to-face training and created an equally unique leadership learning programme on the virtual platform. There has been no compromise to our high standards, and we are still able to use this medium to deliver content in a fun, immersive and relatable way. It has also provided us with the opportunity to look at how we can expand our pre and post learning support online to compliment both online and physical training.
We have a number of virtual programmes. All run over a half day period and can be used individually or for greater impact used as three half day modules. The virtual programme combines traditional resources with a virtual counterpart to maximise learning. As with all our training programmes, they are unique, inciteful and easy to relate to. We have already put over 1500 participants through virtual programmes and continue to expand our offer in response to corporate requirements.
